2016 CFL Grey Cup

The Ottawa Redblacks pull a massive upset and win the 104th Canadian Football Grey Cup championhip.   The defeated the heavily favored Calgary Stampeders 39-33 in overtime.

Nico finished 2nd to teammate Lewis Hamilton in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix but had enough points to clinch his first World Driving championship.

2016 American League MVP

Mike Trout’s historic young career continues to grow. Trout is the 2016 American League MVP. This is the second MVP in three seasons for Trout and he has joined Barry Bonds as the only players to place in the top two slots for MVP in five straight seasons.

2016 National League MVP

Kris Bryant of the World Champion Chicago Cubs is the 2016 National League MVP. Bryant becomes the first player to win the Golden Spikes (Best collegiate player), MiLB Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and MVP in four straight years.
Bryant joins Cal Ripken (1982-83), Ryan Howard (2005-06) and Dustin Pedroia (2007-08) as the only players to win the Rookie of the Year and then the MVP consecutively.
